1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Starkid mobile application, developed and operated by Universica Digital LLP (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using Starkid, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Starkid is a child development app for parents. The app enables parents to log everyday moments, track developmental milestones, journal photos and notes, and receive AI-powered activity suggestions for their children.

Certain features of the platform may use device capabilities such as:

• Camera access
• Photo library or storage access
• Location services

These capabilities are used only to enable app functions such as capturing photos for your child's journal or supporting core features of the app.

3. User Accounts

Starkid accounts are created by individual parents or guardians for personal, family use. Starkid does not offer accounts for schools, businesses, or organizations.

Parents authenticate using a phone number with One-Time Password (OTP) verification. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and for all activities that occur under their account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform.

4. Acceptable Use

By using Starkid, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• Share, misuse, or distribute any child-related information obtained through the platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, data, or system infrastructure.
• Upload harmful, malicious, defamatory, or illegal content.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Starkid platform.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Starkid platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, and design — are owned by Universica Digital LLP or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without prior written permission.

6. User Content

Users may upload or share content on the Starkid platform, including photos, videos, notes, and journal entries.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. However, by uploading content, you grant Universica Digital LLP a limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Starkid services.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others.

7. Child Data Responsibility

The Starkid app stores and displays information that parents or guardians voluntarily add about their own children.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that any child information added to the app is shared in accordance with applicable laws.

Users must not misuse or distribute child-related information beyond personal family use.

Child Safety and Account Use: The Starkid app is intended for use by parents or guardians only. Children do not create accounts or directly use the Starkid application. Any information related to children is added and managed solely by the child's parent or guardian for personal family use.

8. Payment Terms

Certain features or services within Starkid may require a paid subscription.

If applicable:

• Fees may be billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• Subscription pricing and billing cycles will be communicated at the time of purchase.
• Users may cancel subscriptions according to the policies provided within the app or service.

Refunds, if applicable, are subject to our refund policies and the payment platform used.

9. Privacy

Your use of Starkid is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The Starkid platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

While the platform may provide insights related to child development or activities, such information is intended for general informational purposes and should not be considered professional medical, educational, or psychological advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Universica Digital LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Starkid platform.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or service interruptions.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Starkid if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that may harm the platform, its users, or its services.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
• You may request export of your data where applicable before account deletion.

Users may also request deletion of their account in accordance with our Data Deletion Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Starkid platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements.

When significant changes are made, we may notify users via email, website updates, or in-app notifications.

Continued use of the Starkid platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
