Prepare for India’s phased DPDP rollout
The DPDP Rules have phased commencement. Rules 3, 5–16, 22 and 23 are scheduled to start on 13 May 2027; November 2026 is not a blanket school-compliance deadline.
Starkid provides controlled school and family communication. Review your school’s notices, permissions and handling procedures alongside the app; a verified login is not a complete consent process.

Do parents have to pay?
No. Families at a participating school use the Starkid Parent app at no charge to see their own child's attendance, photos and updates.
Is Starkid ready for India's DPDP rules?
Starkid provides individual accounts, controlled access and a route for data requests. It is not a compliance certification; your school must review its notices, permissions and procedures. See our DPDP readiness page and official timetable.
What about our existing WhatsApp groups?
