Where it comes from
In 2020, NEP made preschool part of formal school education for the first time. In 2022, NCERT published the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage — what a child aged three to eight should learn, and how.
Most providers read it and said they were aligned. We started from it.
Every outcome in our sequence traces to a specific line in the NCERT Preschool Curriculum. That's why we can publish the map — and why nobody else has.

Five learning areas
Language & Literacy
Listening, speaking, early sounds, letter recognition, pre-writing
Numeracy & Logic
Counting, quantity, patterns, shapes, sorting, early problem-solving
World Around Me
Body, family, food, animals, plants, weather, community, festivals
Creative & Physical
Drawing, colouring, craft, music, movement, fine and gross motor
Self & Social

The fifth one has no workbook. It's observed, not written — and it's what parents of three-year-olds actually want to know. Most providers don't assess it at all.
These are the five areas the curriculum is organised into — what gets taught each week. They are not the same as the five NCF developmental domains a child is assessed against, which are listed under Assessment below.

Every week has five days. Every day has six short activities. Every activity lists what to set out, the steps to follow, and how long it takes.
What the teacher gets
A day, not a syllabus.
Today's plan opens on her phone. Materials at the top — so it's useful the night before. Six activity cards with steps. A note on how to teach each one well.
Keep circle short. A three-year-old's circle is over when they start lying down, not when your plan is finished.
She ticks what she did. That's the whole interaction.

Assessment
Five developmental domains — the ones the national framework uses, and a different five from the learning areas above. Learning areas organise what is taught; these domains are what a child is assessed against. Four levels. The teacher rates the class once a fortnight, and each child's level is derived from it.
Under thirty seconds a child. Term reports generate from what she recorded. No separate report-writing week.

One report, any month, any classroom. Show it to a parent. Show it to an inspector. It's generated from what actually happened, not from what was promised.
