Do we have to give up our school's name?
No. Non-franchise, no royalty, no brand fee. Your school stays your school. Our name appears only on the imprint line inside the books.
Is the app really free?
Yes, and it always will be. The app is how everything else reaches you — the curriculum opens on it every morning, the assessments feed it, the parent reports come out of it, and your ID cards and labels are generated from the roster it holds. Charging for it would be charging for the pipe. The programme covers what comes through it: curriculum, books, uniform, stationery and identity items.
Can we take the app without the rest?
Yes. Schools use the Starkid app on its own, free, and always can. The programme is for schools that want the curriculum and everything that goes with it.
Is this NCERT-approved?
No — and be sceptical of anyone who claims to be. Our curriculum is built on the NCERT Preschool Curriculum and NCF Foundational Stage 2022. We publish the outcome-by-outcome map so you can check it yourself.
Which levels are available?
Nursery and LKG for the June 2027 session. UKG and Playgroup follow in 2028.
We already use a curriculum provider. Can we switch?
Curriculum changes at the start of a session, not mid-year. The decision window is December to March, for a June start.
Do you supply Kannada?
Yes. Kannada is one of the five titles per level, written by a native-language writer rather than translated.
What if our teachers aren't comfortable with an app?
The daily screen is one page: what to set out, six activities, and a tick when it's done. We train your teachers as part of setup, and there's video for every activity.
Can parents buy directly from you?
No. We supply schools. What a school charges parents, and how, is entirely its decision.
What happens if the books arrive late?
Order by 15 March and we deliver in April or May, before the session starts. Delivery dates are in the order confirmation.
Do you supply outside Bengaluru?
Bengaluru for the 2027 session. Talk to us about 2028.
